A Nutcracker Breakfast

The Nutcracker is one of my favorite holiday traditions! I take my daughters and my Mom to the Nutcracker every year. This year we invited a group of friends to join us and because we couldn’t do lunch afterwards we decided to host a breakfast before the performance.  I literally threw this together in a couple of days and was able to re-use some of my decorations from previous parties. The most important part is that we could celebrate the season with good company and conversation and, best of all, the Moms were able to sit down and actually enjoy our food!

My daughters helped me style the “Moms table” using traditional Christmas plates and decor. My Mom was thrilled that I was getting so much mileage out of her Spode collection she gave me years ago for Christmas. I wonder what my new piece will be this year?:)

And here is what the girls wanted for their table!

What a fun morning with friends! I hope everyone gets their shopping done and have a Merry Christmas!

I found this page while tracking down the original source for a pin on Pinterest and just wanted to let you know: I absolutely love the pink milk with sprinkles!! Definitely doing that when my daughter gets old enough for me to throw little parties for her. Your pics are so lovely!
