I was thrilled when Courtney over at Pizzazzerie told me they were going to feature this party! I had so much fun doing this party and, considering that I had a week to pull this together, I was happy with the results! Most importantly, the birthday girl had one of the best days ever!
See below for pics!

We love parties full of colorful details, and when this gumball birthday party from Ellen Bessette Events came our way we were overwhelmed with a dose of happy!
Ellen filled us in on the inspiration for the gumball bash: “This party was for my daughter who has an addiction to gum! I knew I had to do a gumball party for her next birthday. I wanted it to be colorful, fun and happy.”
Everything from the gumball garland to the colorful backdrop (so cute!), this party is a total fave of ours…
“Not only was it a colorful party, it was chock-full of fun activities, too! The birthday girl requested to have the party at a nearby park, so all of the guests had a ball running around on the field, jumping in a bounce house, kicking big bouncy balls, swinging and climbing! Whew! There was also a face painter to add to the fun!” – Ellen
Teaming up with Amanda’s Parties To Go, Ellen incorporated the gumball theme without by using custom-designed printables. Real gumballs filled centerpieces, DIY gumball machines and, of course, were used to decorated the sweets table, along with an adorable gumball garland! Sweet polka-dotted table runners and napkins with gumball machine printables and mini gumball machine favors doubling as placecards added to the table decor. The cookies from Bees Knees Creative are absolutely a perfect fit!
Ellen also added tutu wands from Titi’s Tutus to the centerpieces to look like big puffy gumballs and used a backdrop of multi-colored circle cut-outs behind the sweets table to complete the look!
As Ellen told us, “This was such a fun and easy party to create.”

AWESOME JOB! Please tell her we said, Happy Birthday! Love, Us
So Cute!! I love the gumball garland – I am thinking of doing that for my daughter’s birthday, in July. Any tips/tricks to stringing it?
The gumballs are hollow so they are easy to poke a hole thru and then string with fishing wire. Hope that helps.
Such a cute party
I was wondering where did you get the blue gift bags? I am looking for that color for my son’s birthday in August. thanks Ashley

The gumball theme is such a cute idea! And I just love the gumball garland… I’m such a sucker for a cute and unique garland.
Thanks so much!
Where did you get the pink and blue gumball machines? I can’t seem to find them anywhere!
are you talking about the mini ones I used for favors? If so, I found them at beau coup.
